Katie Boulter has struggled to produce her best form throughout the North American hard-court swing.
The British star has won just one of her four matches over the past month, with her only victory coming against Katie Volynets in Cincinnati.
Boulter will have the opportunity to bounce back when she competes at the US Open later this month.
Despite her recent poor form, Boulter climbed 11 places in the WTA rankings following her second-round result in Cincinnati.
This has allowed her to overtake Emma Raducanu and achieve a rankings feat for the first time since June 2025.

Katie Boulter has risen 11 places to world number 60 following her performance at the Cincinnati Open.
Emma Raducanu, who did not compete in the Cincinnati Open due to injury, has fallen nine places to world number 68.
As a result, Katie Boulter has become the new British number one.
June 2025 represents the last time Katie Boulter held the British number one position.
She forfeited the number one spot to Emma Raducanu following defeat to Diana Shnaider in the Queen’s Club Championships round of 16.
Ahead of the 2026 US Open, Boulter and Raducanu are the only British players ranked inside the WTA top 100.
Francesca Jones, Sonay Kartal, and Harriet Dart are the British players ranked between 101 and 150 on the Tour.

How did Katie Boulter perform at the 2025 US Open?
Boulter’s 2025 US Open campaign was brought to a grinding halt at the very first hurdle.
The British star was beaten in the first round by Ukrainian player Marta Kostyuk, 4-6, 4-6.
As a result, Boulter earned only 10 ranking points at the event.
This low total gives Boulter the opportunity to significantly improve her ranking at this year’s tournament.
If Boulter were to reach the third round at the 2026 US Open, she would earn a further 120 ranking points.
